The Local - GA 30306

The wings here, are everything! I had the opportunity to try the buffalo jerk wings which will blow your mind. It is seat yourself and the seating went quick, the night I was there. Music was on point. One thing that is unique is how they announce when your order is ready! They definitely have a good time with this. Overall the atmosphere, food, and service were good. I will definitely be going back. My picture does the wings no justice but this just means you have to go try it for yourselves. You won’t be disappointed unless you show up and they run out of wings.

I stopped by this place when I visited Atlanta because I heard that they had great boiled peanuts, which I can confirm. Then I saw that they had $3 pbr tallboys and vegan tacos on their menu and was sold. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders were fantastic. The Local is was Ray Oldenburg was talking about when he wrote The Great Good Place.

Came in around 6:30 on a Thursday. It’s a humble, hole in the wall joint with alternative music. Saw people of all ages. Place was packed! The floor was sticky from what I assumed was too much soap in the mop water, but it was swept, and the ladies’ restroom was clean. Took about 10-15 minutes to get through the line which wasn’t bad for what we got, and it took 15-20 minutes to get the food. The wings are big and seasoned well. Fries are extra crispy, which I like. The shots are also quite large. Enjoyed playing darts and other bar games with friends.

This place is incredible! I would venture to say that these are the best wings in Atlanta. I love the no BS attitude. These owners comments are gold!

Stopped by The Local on a Monday night and had a great time! Pretty cool spot to grab drinks and some simple snacks. They didn’t have wings that night, but the karaoke made up for it, lots of oldies from the 2000s and more, which was a fun vibe. The crowd was super chill, nice people all around, and the customer service was on point. Bonus points for being open late, which I love! Definitely a solid place to hang out.

It’s honestly embarrassing and my family looks down upon me for not having been here after having lived in Atlanta on and off since 2018. The wings are fire my dudes and ladies. I went here for a solo dinner date with myself (can’t miss one of those). On the docket for this evening were 10 sun dried / bbq combo flavored wings which very much lived up to the hype. I also selected ranch for the dressing since I’m major league Midwestern. This was paired with a classic 3 taverns Prometheus which was nostalgic as I had a longer-than-necessary sour beer phase. I’ll be bringing the missus back with me next time, you already know. The cashier was very friendly and helped me gain confidence with my order since I don’t often use “sun dried,” “wings” and “big boy hungry” in the same sentence. It is also a karaoke bar and I do hear some Beer For My Horses in my future

Great bar, great vibes, amazing food!! So many people love this place and once you’re here it’s easy to see and feel why. There’s a beautiful community and culture here. Just be yourself and have fun!!
